How is ADHD Testing Valuable?
ADHD is a fairly complex disorder that is easily and commonly confused with emotional symptoms and behavioral concerns. Often times, parents seek an evaluation from their primary care physician, pediatrician or psychiatrist and a diagnosis is determined (in some cases) based on very limited subjective data.
ADHD testing is necessary, valuable and helpful in order to accurately confirm a diagnosis of ADHD, rule out other possible reasons for the symptoms and to gain qualitative data about the symptoms, rather then solely rely on observations.
