- You or someone you know has a plan to commit suicide. The person intends to complete suicide and has the means to the method (such as access to a gun, knives, poison, excess medication, lethal drugs, etc.)
- You or someone you know has a plan to harm someone else. If you or someone you know is at risk of attempting murder or other physical harm to someone, you should seek immediate assistance.
NON Emergency Severe Symptoms that Require Treatment
This list is intended to provide a brief outline of sample problems that necessitate treatment, yet may be addressed in an outpatient setting and does not necessarily constitute an emergency. In other words, these problems are better addressed by making an appointment with us rather than calling 911 or going to the emergency room.
